All Saints Primary School in Gorton held a "World at Work Week" between the 13th March and the 17th March 2017. During the week they had visits to the Football Museum, Gorton Monastery and the Space Project as well as holding a job fair where the children were given the opportunity to interview people from different professions in order to find out more about each role.

Paul Griffiths DL, who grew up in Gorton, is a previous High Sheriff and the Chairman of the Gorton Monastery Trust. He attended at the school to talk about his current and previous roles and his duties as a Deputy Lieutenant at the school assembly.

The children were very excited as he went to the school in his uniform and took time out to visit all the classrooms so that all the children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions.

The picture shows him with Ms Toni Elliott Headteacher and all the form leaders.
