The LL congratulated Edina UK on being granted the award saying: 'the award is not to an individual, nor to the management but to the whole workforce and reflects vision, creativity, sound management, good communications and an enthusiastic and loyal workforce.  If one word encapsulates the award it is teamwork'.

In 2014 there were only 39 national awards made for innovation and 5 of these were in the North West, 3 of whom were in our county.  The other two winners are Metalube Ltd in Irlam and High Voltage Partial Discharge Ltd from Salford who also won the Queen's Award for International Trade.
