Lorraine Worsley-Carter MBE DL

Lorranie Worsley-CarterLorraine has been a freelance broadcaster for thirty years mainly with the BBC.

Her last assignment was as Regional Broadcast Manager for CSV Media, line managing CSV Media -action desk producers based in each of the ten BBC radio stations across the North of England. She was also Chair of Prince's Trust for Greater Manchester for many years.

In 1998 Lorraine was awarded the M.B.E. for "outstanding service to broadcasting and the community".

She served as a non-executive director for the NHS for a number of years and is an Independent Assessor for high public appointments for the Department of Media Culture and Sport.

Lorraine also delivers seminars on "How to get the best from the press and media" and delivers media interview training to many corporate organisations. Founder-Managing Director of Countess Publicists; she is now a recognised force in the field of public speaking, public relations, VIP launch events, charity liaison and promoting personal development skills.

Lorraine also writes for a Spanish Newspaper and can be heard occasionally on Radio in Costa Blanca. She is married to Bob and they have four grown up children. Lorraine was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant in January 2008.
