Paul Horrocks was the editor in chief of the Manchester Evening News for over 12 years and worked in the mainstream media in Manchester for nearly 40 years. He is a former president of the UK Society of Editors.
Paul now runs his own PR consultancy, Essential Comms in Bury. He was the chairman of Bury NHS Primary Care Trust for two years and is now a non-executive on the Greater Manchester NHS PCT.
Paul is a member of the fundraising board for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, a director of The Tatton Charitable Trust and a patron of Bury Hospice. He is married to Linda, with four grown-up children, and lives in Bury.
